Well, unless they're intending to swerve us, JBL might lose the World title at SummerSlam.

I'm not completely sure though... the fact that they've started a new gimmick with him, with Orlando Jordan as "Virgil 2004" makes me unsure.

The Relay Match rules were a bit confusing to me at first. Once they became easier to follow though, I feel that losing large parts of the match for commercials really hurt it.

Outside of ratchetting the heat between Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle though I don't think the show did a lot to make us really eager to buy the PPV.

Well Rena Mero (Sable) was released from WWE. No reason has been given save that they 'parted ways'.

I can't really call it a loss. I wasn't impressed when they brought her back 15 months ago, and she wasn't exactly firing up the storylines since WrestleMania XX anyway.

I guess she'll just have more time to snuggle with her man-child Brock Lesnar now.

My first thought at a segment of RAW: "a diva dodgeball match?! They're bringing the crap to the PPV too?!" Then I had another thought: there was nothing involving the divas on the card, and we need our 'palate cleanser' before the main event.

I don't think they succeeded in building heat for the World title bout, but the rest of the card has been built up:

* Jericho came off as the tweener from his match with Edge on RAW. With both he and Batista coming off so strong tonight, I suspect that Edge will retain.

* They added more crap to the Kane / Matt Hardy / Lita storyline, and sadly I suspect Kane will win, and the crap will continue.

* Eugene came out on top tonight, but I don't think it neccesarily means he'll lose. HHH was the monster heel of the night, and having him win out afterward would be a little disappointing.

* At least the fact that Randy Orton didn't lose tonight may mean he won't win the title. Here's hoping...
