A week's worth of stuff to cover here:

So the Road Warriors / Legion of Doom returned on RAW instead of working a dark match first. The "word" is that which brand they'll be put to regularly hasn't yet been decided, but RAW makes more sense; that's been so far the brand where most of the older talent (Flair, Kevin Nash, Goldberg, Shawn Michaels so far) have shown up.

I wasn't happy with them being given a title shot right away - but I'd have been less happy if they actually won.

Smackdown! this evening set up what will likely be two major disappointments for the PPV, or at least one certain one, one potential. First, Hulk Hogan / Mr. America versus Roddy Piper... two guys who can't wrestle a partway decent match. Color me bored already.

And having Brock Lesnar beat up The Big Show... conventional booking has the guy who'll lose at the PPV go over the show before. I hope they pulled a fast one here; I can't see Show as champ again getting any fan interest.

- Oh, and the guy with the artificial leg is likely the one-legged wrestler signed a few months ago. Time will likely tell.
