First a caveat: I didn't see Bad Blood. My usual get together didn't happen, and based on the reported lineup, I wasn't exactly fired up to spend 40 bucks to see it alone.

After the reviews and write-ups I read of it, I'm glad.

Do WWE want people to stop watching Smackdown!? If so, it sounds like they did a good job here.

The only matches really worth watching were the Fatal Four-Way Elimination match for the US title and the Cruiserweight title bout. Those I'll hope to see someday on videotape.

The rest? Mordecai and Kenzo Suzuki against Bob Holly and Billy Gunn respectively? Pass. Luther Raigns in a squash againt Charlie Haas? Pass. Sable versus Torrie Wilson? There's no womens title in that brand, and neither one is great in the ring. Pass. The Undertaker against The Dudley Boys with Paul Bearer's life in the balance? Regardless of the finish being spoiled for some who saw the rehearsal on their satellites, I'd already heard Mr. Moody (Bearer)'s contract wasn't renewed - and none of the workers really interested me. Pass.

By far the worst thing they did however: they made Bradshaw their top champion. A guy barely talented enough to be a mid-carder, a guy who fans don't really care about, a man who did something stupid and racist in Germany - WWE Champion. Worse, he didn't really win it, not even through his own cheating.

I won't be surprised if SD! has another huge ratings drop from this.
