Yet again, I feel Smackdown! really got the short end of the deal on the trade this week. RAW gets Carlito, SD! gets Mohammed Hassan and Daivari. I don't think Carlito is a huge star yet, but he's still a far bigger deal as a trade.

Thank ghod the show ended with most of a half hour devoted to a match between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero. They really needed something good to erase the blandness of the long rambling promo that Randy Orton began the show with.

Carlito Carribean Cool now on RAW is a strange choice. He hasn't had enough time to really get into fan mentality yet to have a real impact, and drafting him means Smackdown! not only has to get more star power, they also have to scramble to figure what to do with Matt Morgan now.

What was even more of a shame: he debuted on a mediocre show overall. Chris Masters didn't stink up our screens this week, but Viscera did. On top of that, the only real excitement on the show was the faked Matt Hardy intro.

So all three luchadors premiered on Velocity las weekend - Psychosis, Super Crazy and The Snooze Juice Juventud Guerrera.

I'd be more impressed if a) they appeared on a show people actually watch and b) said show wasn't going to be cancelled when the WWE moves to USA network.

For now: I just hope they get much more airtime.

I just finished watching (finally!) ECW One Night Stand.

The WWE ring music for some of the guys in the promotion was a bit disappointing, and the fact Psicosis and Rey Mysterio wrestled safe was also a shame... but everything else about the show was tops in my book. The action, the shoots by Rob Van Dam and Paul Heyman, the appearances of most of the old roster... this was easily my favorite PPV this year!
