Smackdown!'s tag team champions will be crowned at No Mercy. This week we'll learn which two teams face off.

If I had to choose (playing armchair booker) I'd go with either the Guerreros or the team of D Von and Ron Simmons. I know they're both heel teams, so they aren't likely to face off in the Finals. Both teams are actually put together as teams, instead of being singles competitors tagging together. That would make more sense to start a tag team division. It's pretty slim pickings for both brands, with only Rosie and Jamal a real team on the RAW side.

Speaking of RAW, we again had atheletes put on good matches. We saw some good storytelling - but...

Well, Randy Orton is finally being booked as an annoying heel, as some analysts expected. It may actually help him to develop some personality.

The interplay between Al Snow and Christopher Nowinski wasn't bad. This "is Al becoming a heel, or not?" story can work. They also explained Victoria's beef with Trish. Jealousy from their common past. It fits.

Chris Jericho and Christian defending their tag titles against Booker T and Goldust actually now has logical animosity. If Book and 'dust win, they may end up sacrifices to the Island Boys after all, just a few months later.

Then we get to the continuing storyline for Kane and Triple H. Here they had a chance to make it interesting for the PPV. Instead, I almost closed my TV in disgust. Who wrote this crap? The whole Kane as murderer idea was bad enough. Now he has insinuations of rape or necrophelia? That was simply disgusting.
