As I understand it, Jerry Lynn was given his release from the WWF, and appeared at the WWA event.


Jerry is a good example of talent wasted by the federation. Here's a guy who was given a small push, made Light Heavyweight Champion right off the bat, then summarily buried in very short order, appearing only in passing when Bradshaw was pushing the lockerroom boys to fight the Alliance a few months ago... then he was on the shelf for a while with a leg injury, and was never even mentioned again.


(Reports said he may have had matches on Heat and Jakked; I never saw him on the former, and we don't get the latter in Montreal anymore, so I never saw him again.)


Gee... another extremely talented Cruiserweight released when we never really got to see him. I'm really buying into the oft-given story of a revitalized Cruiserweight division... not.
