The new set and music for Smackdown didn't impress me, but a few bits of the show did.
The new set is too busy for my tastes; the giant fist sticking out, the two separate screens showing different things... you just aren't sure where your eye is supposed to go.
The music, too... hasn't Marilyn Manson's song "Beautiful People" been out for a few years now? It seems a bit outdated to use it now.
I did like the fact that Booker-T's urinage is called 'the Book-end' again. Also: what long time ECW fan didn't get a thrill when Tazz sported his head-towel, and used his famous catch phrase: "Beat me if you can. Survive if I let you."?
