This week Smackdown! gave us one stellar match Kurt Angle-Eddie Guerrero, their pointless squash match (RAW had Chris Masters this week, SD! gave us Heidenreich), a few forgettable and pointless bouts, and a LOT of promos and interview spots.

So the fed brought a new tag team in. Melania is I think the Diva reject who made a single appearance on RAW... the team had a cool intro, but it'll remain to see if they're any good in the ring. They also need a better team name; MNA became "M and M" under Michael Cole's mixed up words. Neither one is terribly catchy to me.

I've been trying to formulate an intelligent review of this week's RAW. I didn't succeed, as all I could come up with to describe it is:

"What the hell was that?"

Shawn Michaels asking Hulk Hogan to tag with him against Hassan-Davari... experience shows that the match will really just star Hogan. He doesn't share spotlight. How does this further a feud?

Kane and Lita have been faces for awhile. Now they're creepy heels? That's what they came off as.

The spotlight of Batista's World Title stint seems to be HHH as well, since Batista is barely getting mic time. Randy Orton seems to be being built up as a face again, and few seem to care about the big guy. What was the point of making him champion then?

No doubt, that was a frustrating show.

It turns out that in Molly Holly's case, she actually requested to be cut, as she saw her character going nowhere.

Still, this leaves a Women's division of only 3 wrestlers (and Spaz. Christie Hemme is nowhere near ready to perform).

WWE went pink slip crazy in the past few days! First Rhyno then Matt Hardy (your girlfriend cheats on you with Edge, and his push continues, so does hers - but you get cut. Great message there Vince).

Today I heard they also cut Molly Holly (what a waste of talent!) and Aaron "Jesus" Aguilara, after he had only 2 matches before injury leave.

This is a smart move WWE: make your roster even more anemic shortly before a network change.

Yes, it has been many weeks since I last did an update here. Let's just move on.

I learned that Rhyno was fired yesterday based on his altercation with his wife a week or so ago in public.

It's a shame the final ECW Champion won't be at the ECW PPV this summer... mind you, WWE didn't seem to have any ideas to use him for some time now. I was suspecting it to be the lead in to a cut anyway.
