RAW in Canada this week was unusual indeed. My fellow Canucks always turn it into 'bizarro world' as Jerry Lawler called it... if the heels are Canadian, they get cheered. In some cases the babyface (Randy Orton) is booed while the heel (HHH) gets cheered. Granted, when Orton spouts dumb-sounding words (most greatest??) he deserves being booed... but it still sounds weird.

Shawn Michaels still being booed for Survivor Series 97... I was right there 7 rows back, and I'm over it. Other fans should move on already too!

(I just remembered: Hunter was implicated in the Screw Job too. Funny how fans make sure to forget that!)

I guess having Viscera out against Batista helps Dave a bit (getting to show power by lifting a larger man)... still, Chuck Palumbo wasn't an exciting performer, Rodney Mack never came close to being over - but both would have been better on the payroll than Mabel!

Chris Masters is an impressive physical specimen - but from the reports I've read about his dark match debut, a decent look doesn't a good wrestler make.

TSN once again insulted the intelligence of us Canadian fans: we didn't see Trish Stratus take a choke slam. I sometimes think that if there was a way to censor the view for fans at a live show, they would do it in a flash.

Well, ESPN Classics Canada officially won't be added to my channel grid now... they advertised a TNA Day for Sunday. 6 hours of TNA action. I wasn't going to be home, so I set my VCR to record it.

Their 6 hours were actually the same 2-hour special, repeated 3 times in a row.

Treat wrestling fans as idiots who can't tell they're getting the same repeat over and over... oh yeah... THAT's the way to get new viewers. [/sarcasm]
