Did Smackdown! ever take a large step down this week, in my opinion.

First, they had Albert start the show. The man who's stunk up Velocity for months now gets to stink up SD too.

Then, we get Crash get the win over Jamie Knoble. This is just my personal opinion, but I find his shtick almost as stale as Jeff Hardy.

The show would have been saved by the last match, nearly 30 minutes of great stuff from four guys who steal the show (Benoit, Angle, Edge and Guerrero), but then they have to spoil it with a stupid lesbian angle for Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie. This had nothing to do with wrestling, makes both characters murkier, and is the kind of crap that's hurt RAW for months now. What were the bookers thinking?

I didn't see either Velocity or Heat this past week, so Tough Enough III was actually a surprise. Too bad Scott was cut. If he'd been able to do his moves right, I think he would have made a very entertaining performer in the ring.

Ring. I can't believe that Al Roker's notes were so poor that he mis-named Jerry "The KING" Lawler at the Macy's Parade.

Getting to RAW: Scott Steiner is officially with Smackdown! now. RAW is the show that really needs more names on the roster. I think the WWE "brain trust" really made a mistake here.
