This will most likely be the last ABomanation here on Fight City. I'll be moving it to The Bob Freeman Show shortly.

Tonight was an historic RAW, re-creating ECW... but I think it was also a show that made the Invasion PPV confusing, and probably damaged any chances of the new WCW getting over with fans.

First, we have Shane McMahon turn heel again. Throughout the show, WCW by association go heel too. Fans generally don't root for the heels.

Then we get the recreation of ECW, as 2 WCW wrestlers and 8 WWF stars return to the fold, all as heels. Normally, this would be an interesting storyline - but it murked up the WCW one as a result.

Then, the endin: now WCW and ECW are together. Why? Stephanie McMahon is now the owner of ECW. Again, why? How does Paul Heyman fit in not being the owner of his own promotion? What does Stephanie being in charge add to it?

Vince, you got a lotta 'splainin to do now!
