Sad news: developmental wrestler Russ Haas died in his sleep. He was only 27 years old.

Russ along with his brother Charlie made a tag team believed ready for the big show, when a heart attack sidelined him a few months ago.

Jim Ross stated in his Ross Report that Russ was shortly to see a cardiologist. Although the problem seemed to have cleared up, the WWF wanted to make sure this was the case. Maybe it wasn't, and this was the result.

So I watched my tape of Smackdown! yesterday... it was mostly entertaining... then they spent about 15 minutes for Steve Austin to brawl with Booker T in a grocery store.

A food fight. 15 fricken minutes devoted to a glorified food fight. Sheesh.

Vengeance is now in the record books, and I have to say: The Rock loses! The Rock loses!

I wasn't happy with how Jericho won, but the fact he did... well, I kept saying to friends how he needed to be a winner to really do something new in the WWF... I guess McMahon finally realized that too.
