We seem to be in a Bizarro world...

The World Wildlife Foundation - also the WWF - had an agreement to share the name with our WWF... but they decided that the wrestling promotion has outdone its sharing rights, so sued - and won.

WWFE will appeal the decision... good thing, since otherwise they'd have to eliminate WWF.com, stop using the logo, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong here -- but what kind of moron would look for a wildlife preservation society and confuse it with a wrestling promotion?

Montreal has 'enjoyed' the heatwave sweeping across North America... the heat made it hard for me to think, thus the four days without updates here.

Overall, Smackdown was a solid, enjoyable show last night. Only thing that spoiled it: Kane and the Undertaker winning the WCW tag straps.

Who didn't see that coming before the ring bell? As soon as DDP and Kanyon won the WWF ones, and it was announced that they'd face off at Summerslam, it just became a "connect the dots" deal.

Well, tonight's RAW had lots of fun bits indeed! (Not a Funaki "Indeed" there...)

RVD started us off with another cool match, but a highlight for me was witnessing Tajiri winning his first WWF title!

I think that the federation are finally beginning to understand how unpopular X-Pac really is, having William Regal saying exactly what the fans have for many, many months now - that X-Pac sucks.

Also, the reused one of the few interesting bits from WCW: Chris Kanyon in his dead-on twin routine to DDP.

For now, let's just say: Tajiri number one!

Sorry I didn't post this yesterday. My aunt's Cable modem was down.

Trying out the pleasures of broadband, I checked out the WWF's Byte This yesterday.

It was interesting to hear a more 'smart' approach to commentary, but it was also nice to hear the cameraderie. When Kevin Kelly and Howard Finkel spoke with Drozz and Tazz, you really got the feeling that these were close friends speaking to each other.
