RAW was actually mostly entertaining tonight. Kweewee-co - I mean, Rico was actually funny in his flamboyance. While the gimmick isn't original, it reminds me of the early Goldust shtick.

Kane is seeming to become a tweener. While saying some heel-ish things about hating the fans and Rob Van Dam, we ended the show with him chokeslamming Eric Bishoff, getting the fans solidly behind him.

Two things didn't quite click on the show for me. The first: TSN with their constant "we must control what you see!" attitude struck yet again. This time, we got crowd shots for Stacy Keibler's slam by Test. Hey TSN? I'm Canadian, and I was offended - offended that yet again you did the thinking for me!

The second problem for me was the Woman's title Battle Royale. First, this type of match never gives us an opportunity to see the ability of the performers. So awarding Gail Kim the title doesn't work on several levels. First, it's her first ever televised match. We as viewers don't have any emotional investment in her. Plus, we really don't know how she performs in the ring. As a result, her win has absolutely no impact.
