* Survivor Series has long come and gone... and I enjoyed this one much more than I have in several years. In large part that was because we had several actual Survivor matches!
The RAW brand one probably produced the best match of the night, and amazingly Shawn Michaels was the MVP again. Not bad for a semi-retired guy.
HHH didn't re-win the title, which is something many folks are happy about. I'm one of them. When he did the predictable thing of searching out a sledgehammer yet again, I was cursing. Can he even try to come up with an original spot anymore?
* Lance Storm has now been teamed up with Val Venis, because Goldust (Dustin Runnels) is being released.
This is typical idiocy from Creative to me. First they give him a dumb gimmick (tourettes), Then cut him loose because they have no idea where to go with the dumb thing. This is pathetic.
I hope Dustin lands on his feet here.
* Last week's Smackdown! was far better than their usual Thanksgiving offering. It was weird though to see Scotty 2 Hotty standing next to Albert / A-Train though... after all, the start of their feud came shortly before Scotty went in for surgery.
