Aw man... Brian "Spanky" Kendricks got a release after Tuesday tapings. He felt the fed wasn't doing anything with him and wanted out.

He and Paul London made an exciting tag team. I hope this doesn't lead to London being buried even more as a result.

RAW was a major improvement this week.

We got a mostly interesting heat promo between Triple H and Shawn Michaels, Matt and John from Tough Enough III put on a decent showing... even the IC Title match with challenger RVD versus Randy Orton was a solid affair. Even the continuing story between Trish and Chris Jericho didn't come out too dumb this week - not counting it giving Mark Henry screen time.

(One thing struck me on this: Rodney Mack is nowhere to be seen or mentioned. Does this mean the replacement for Dlo Brown barely lasted a year?)

I'm a bit disappointed that Mick Foley didn't appear, granted. Being as the show was in his home of Long Island it would have been a perfect place for him to appear... which is probably why they didn't do it actually. That keeps his return from being predictable.

Smackdown! was a mixed bag to me.

On one hand, we had a great match and angle with Los Guerreros and The Bashams. Chavo really went solid rudo there. On the other, the show closed with another Big Show versus Hardcore Holly match.

Holly... I'm sorry, he just doesn't have a main event feel. He isn't an interesting World Title challenger, and no amount of spin will make him one for me.
