Judgment Day proved to be a better show than it seemed on paper. Surprising...

Eddie Guerrero and RVD made for a great opening bout. Since there wasn't a Cruiserweight match, starting with such high workrate fare made up for it a little.

The Hell in a Cell match provided many "Holy sh*t!" moments too. Triple H and Chris Jericho really pulled out all the stops here.

The tag title match provided results we predicted, but worked well for storytelling. Having Rikishi and Rico win the tag belts, now having champions who don't like each other and likely working at cross purposes will make some compelling plots.

Edge and Kurt Angle gave us another match of the year candidate too.

Hogan dropping the championship to the Undertaker... well, I don't want to see either of them as champion, but at least the match was short - and it broke the predictability of having the guy who gets beaten up before the card as winner.

To use Rick Scaia's ratings, I give this one a tentative Thumbs Up.
