I missed part of the Royal Rumble last night (specifically the Rumble itself), but the surprises I read about online today led me to a lot of thought:

Haku

Granted, the man known as Meng in WCW isn't a huge defectee name... but he won the Hardcore title there just last week at Sin. I haven't yet seen a match where he lost it, either.

I suspect this'll lead to some interesting developments over the next little while, though. Is he out of WCW, or was this just a one-time loan? If he is gone from Atlanta, how will they resolve matters for the Hardcore title? Does it even still exist under Eric Bischoff?

I guess we'll get some answers on RAW tonight.
