I just read that Hercules Hernandez - real name Raymond Hernandez - died in his sleep this weekend. He was 46.

No cause has yet been given for his death, but he was a man who took steroids for a large part of his career. I saw him here in Montreal in 1992 in Ray Rougeau's promotion as Loup Garou (translation: werewolf), and we could see how much flab he now had as he'd got off 'roids.

Regardless of the causes, he was a part of the wrestling landscape of the late 80s - early 90s. He will be missed.
