The just completed Survivor Series offered many surprises, food for thought, and a few niggling thoughts.

The Elimination Chamber lived up to its brutality, succeeded I think in bringing a new interpretation of 'survival' for the 21st century (since the classic 4-man team eliminations seem gone). Only thing that bugs me: it again came down to Kliq members trading the title between themselves. I wonder if Shawn Michaels will vacate the title tomorrow, or if he plans to try making a convincing run.

This was also a PPV where every title match saw a new champion crowned! Having The Big Show now WWE champion will really take a hard sell for fans. At least we did get to see Brock F5 him first. That was impressive to see.

It seemed that Jeff Hardy earned more heat tonight, when Rico cursed him out to hurry and hit a spot - but considering the psycho bumps he took in the match, the mere fact that he could even stand up deserved props.

Is D-von back for good, or was this a one night thing? His Reverend D-von character just wasn't working with the fans, so it would be a good change.

Also, Scott Steiner made his debut, loudly swearing in his promo ("Get me an f'ing mic!"). As an aside: his biceps really don't look right to me... they kept the mystery going of which brand he'll go to well, having him destroy guys from both the RAW and Smackdown! side. Only thing we know is that he'll probably be a face.

The event was a little short at under 3 hours, but this felt like a very entertaining show.
