This news is actually a bummer: "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig was released from his contract too.

Unlike Hall, Hennig is still a tremendous worker, one who fans cheered even though a heel (he was there for Jakked tapings when RAW came to Montreal a few months ago, so I can say this with experience!). He's a performer we'll actually miss.
